13/05/2011 Harrogate VC - AGM
We will be having our Annual General Meeting on Thursday May 19th (7:45pm) at Rossett. It would be great to have everyone come along. We will be voting on some new ideas for both men's and women's teams so it would be great to have lots and lots of people. (We are planning to provide some nibbles too) Hope to see you all soon - Graham

03/05/2011 HVC Indoor Tournament - 7th of May 2011
Our club is joining forces with Harrogate Grammar School and putting on an Indoor 4-a-side volleyball tournament.

Please feel free to come along even if you haven't got a full team. We can group you into teams on the day. The money raised will support the Grammar School and the Japanese Appeal. Graham

02/01/2011 Updates for New Year
We're pleased to inform about few updates on the website that were outstanding for a while. First of all we finally have published new Fixtures and some past results of our games. Secondly I need to officially anounce our second Ladies Team been formed and entered for West Yorkshire Ladies League, what comes with Teams site refresh. Finally there's a bit of re-furniture to our Gallery and new entry of Newcastle Staffs vs. Harrogate match in second round of UK's National Cup.
I realise that there are still many things to do but I hope to be more up to speed, as a part of my New Years resolution.
Of course on behalf of HVC I'd like to wish you All The Best in very Happy New Year 2011 ! so get this ball flying again. Karol

29/11/2010 Snowy winter in North Yorkshire! - Updated.
Last night's game at home vs. Barnsley, was cancelled due to venue availability, however it was later called to be played away at their venue. This didn't happen as well because of severe weather conditions. Most of us couldn't get through slippery roads around Yorkshire.
Second match, between Harrogate 'Springs' and Beverley was called as cancelled too, but at the end opponents found their way through the snow and ice, to stand on court right on time. It was pretty hectic evening, when we all were trying to organise it at the last minute and at the end we've lost 0-3. That's again because half of our usual team members couldn't play.
There is already about 10 – 15cm of snowfall around Harrogate but it's worse further East. Forecast for next 48 hours says about additional falls, up to 50cm in places. Karol

04/08/2010 Second Harrogate Team got promoted!
Our Division 1 Mens team has been moved to the upper league - Yorkshire Premiership. This was caused by few factors, where one of them is forthcoming change in National League structure. It then leads to have two mens teams in the league.
Another good news, might come out soon, if we will manage to have two ladies teams as well. 2,3... Harrogate!!

11/07/2010 Additional training sessions during summer!
We're making changes to our usual, weekly volleyball sessions, we also look forward to keep it in place this year. This week we'll have outdoor session on Tuesday at 7pm and additionally indoor, on Thursday at usual hours ladies/mens.
Please attend to both trainings and pass the message to your friends, who likes to play volleyball. Karol

Just wanted to drop a quick note about an update in our Gallery. Check it out yourself! Karol

23/05/2010 We couldn't have asked for a better weather in this country, like we had today (maybe a bit too windy :P) and it was an excellent event!
Big THANKS for all, who came today and participated in games and tournament, and of course helped to organise everything. There are many nice photos taken today and these will appear in our gallery soon. There will also be a list of members awarded today in another note.
I'll be working a bit more on the website in next few weeks and will update all the scores/league tables and statistics for last season.
At the end, there's one more thing I should mention:
next 3 weeks we play at The Stray on Thursday's at 7pm(ish), place is the same as today (opposite Coach and Horses/Comet click here). Cheers! Karol

02/02/2010 Our own place on the web
Just today our website has finally found it's own place with proper (not shared) space and bandwidth, so you should expect it working much faster. It also means, that we can finally build some more of our Gallery and publish all the photos right here.

21/12/2009 Thank you all for good first part of season and all the effort put into Club's life this year.
It's worth to notice very good results at the end of 2009, especially December's matches at Premiership. Congratulations guys! Yesterday's match at Beverley and our Christmas Party on 17th were the last events this year, so see you all next year and of course... We wish you All Merry Christmas and Happiest New Year 2010 !!

This week was really good for our Club. Two Cup matches were won by our Mens teams:
